In February I had the honor of presenting at TEDxCSU here in Fort Collins. I spoke about my challenge adhering to the social norm of a “single” career, what it means to be a hybrid professional, remembering to quote the whole Mary Oliver poem, and how each of my jobs is part of a cohesive career focused on celebrating the wonder and diversity of humanity. The first time I advocated for a wider scope of inclusion was in 2005, when I sought a conversation about gender in a diversity conference put on by local high schools in my area. Since then I have been working in areas of policy, strategy, healthcare, and business administration to both introduce concepts of diversity and encourage inclusion, and also to provide organizations with concrete tools to immediately change the way their workplace feels. 

I specialize in helping healthcare organizations learn how to incorporate social determinants of health into their screenings and practice models, and how diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice can be brought to bear in healthcare spaces.
